Packaging from concept to finished product

Bjarne Johnsen AS offers a comprehensive approach to packaging development, assisting customers from the initial concept through to a finished, approved product in the warehouse. We work closely with producers throughout the process, starting with a needs assessment covering the product to be packaged, material and transport requirements, and volume and price expectations.

After the development phase - drawings, specifications, and samples - we coordinate communication between customer and producer, ensuring technical requirements are correctly understood, and follow up until samples are approved. After production starts, we carry out quality control at the factory and on receipt in Bergen.

Customers benefit from not having to deal directly with foreign suppliers - we take responsibility for quality, communication, and logistics throughout the supply chain.

To ensure short delivery times, a selection of packaging products is warehoused at our Bergen facility. This allows rapid delivery for regular ongoing orders as well as unexpected needs that arise at short notice.

Warehousing in Bergen reduces the customer's need to hold large stocks of their own. Instead, they can order based on actual consumption, and we deliver. This improves capital binding and reduces the risk of obsolescence.

For customers with high and stable consumption we offer agreements for fixed stock levels and regular deliveries. For customers with more variable needs we deliver ad hoc from stock or plan new production orders based on forecasts.
